Meeting up

How the halfway spot works, what to bring, and paying at the handover.

Start to finish

Four steps

1

Agree it in the app

Settle the bike, the price or the cash on top in the chat.

2

Pick a spot

The app suggests a spot halfway between you. Or pick your own, like a petrol station.

3

Bring the paperwork

The logbook or proof of purchase, the keys and the service history.

4

Pay at the handover

Look the bike over, then pay face to face and hand over the keys.

The halfway spot

When you agree a deal, the app suggests a spot halfway between you, so neither of you rides further than the other. If somewhere else suits you both better, pick your own, like your local petrol station.

  • The app doesn’t take a deposit or hold any money
  • Safe Swap, coming soon, lets you pay in the app through Stripe
